Joomla! 3.3 veröffentlicht
Das Joomla Projekt und das Production Leadership Team gibt die veröffentlich der Joomla! Verionen 3.2.4 und 3.3 bekannt.
Es gibt dieses mal zwei Versionen, weil die Version eine minimale php 5.3.10 Version benötigt. Sollte sie diese Version oder eine höhere Version installiert haben, dann wird empfohlen sofort das Update auf 3.3 durchzuführen. Haben sie eine php Version auf Ihrem Server installiert, die kleiner php 5.3.10 ist, dann sollten Sie das Update auf 3.2.4 durchführen.
Für das Update auf 3.3 ist wichtig, dass Sie mindestens Joomla 3.2.2 installiert haben. Versionen die kleiner 3.2.2 werden aufgefordert zunächst auf 3.2.4 und dann auf 3.3 upzudaten. Wichtig, auch auf diesem Weg ist mindestens Version 5.3.10 erforderlich.
Die Version enthält Verbesserungen in der Sicherheit durch bessere Passwortverschlüsselung, microdata, optimierter Code für bessere Geschwindigkeit und die komplette Umstellung von mootools auf jQuery.
The 3.3 release introduces new features into the CMS such as improved password hashing and microdata and optimizes the code with performance improvements to the routing system and the continued conversion of MooTools based JavaScript to jQuery. Die Version 3.2.4 enthält fast die gleichen Änderungen, enthält aber noch Code der eine php Version kleiner 5.3.10 enthält.

If you are currently running Joomla! 3.2 on a server with PHP 5.3.10 or later, we encourage you to update immediately to Joomla! 3.3 via either the one-click update or the update downloads available at http://www.joomla.org/download.html. For sites on servers with a version of PHP lesser than 5.3.10, 3.2.4 is the release for you. For other versions of the 3.x series, applying the update is recommended as soon as possible.
Note that in order to update directly to 3.3 via the core update component, you must be running 3.2.2 or later due to the raised minimum supported PHP version and the update system not supporting checking the server’s PHP version in older releases. Older 3.x releases will be prompted to update to 3.2.4 before being presented the 3.3 update.
